LOANS

The Bank lends money to middle-income countries at interest rates lower than the rates on loans from commercial banks. In addition, the Bank lends money at no interest to the poorest developing countries, those that often cannot find other sources of loans. Countries that borrow from the Bank also have a much longer period to repay their loans than commercial banks allow and don't have to start repaying for several years.

Family Support Organisation Grant Programs for covid 19

The Family Support Organisation is a major source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries in all parts of the world. It is made up of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), and the International Development Association (IDA). The IBRD focuses on middle-income and credit-worthy countries which are economically poor, while the IDA focuses only on the economically poorest countries. Together the IBRD and IDA provide credits, grants, and low-interest loans to finance all aspects of economic development.
